In honor of last Saturday’s Armed Forces Day, Lewis Group Architects wishes to extend our sincerest gratitude to our nation’s veterans for their willingness to stand and protect the place we call home.
To those who have given so much, much should be given and we can think of no better way to pay homage to their service and sacrifice than through collaboration with the Tennessee Department of Veterans Services to design elder care living spaces throughout the state of Tennessee.
It continues to be our distinct honor and privilege to provide comfort and care through the design of both the Bradley County Veterans’ Home, currently in its construction phase, as well as Ben Atchley State Veterans Home in Knoxville, TN which was completed in 2006.
LGA’s dynamic design staff strives for a client-inclusive project from beginning to end. Our team aims to emphasize and mirror the culture and goals of each client in the finished space. Our overall goal for any veteran care facility project is to give an enduring resource to its residents and a place that brings comfort, honor, and rest to the greatest among us.
“Today let us, as Americans, honor the American fighting man. For it is he – the Soldier, the Sailor, the Airman, the Marine – who has fought to preserve freedom. It is his valor that has given renewed hope to the free world that by working together in discipline and faith our ideals of freedom will always prevail.” – Admiral Forrest P. Sherman
Founded in 1982 by Jerry W. Lewis, AIA on the principles of honesty, integrity, and exemplary service for our clients, LGA is a professional corporation that has become the Firm of Choice – the firm that clients have chosen again and again for comprehensive and distinctive design services.
