Serving Those Who Served!
LGA is excited to announce that the ribbon has been cut on the newest Tennessee State Veterans’ Home (TSVH) in Bradley County, Tennessee. We would like to thank everyone involved in this transformative project and all their hard work as they gear up and prepare for residents.

Central to TSVH Bradley County’s success is the idea that the resident is the number one priority – a sentiment that LGA shares and has ample experience with. TSVH puts veterans first, providing resident-centered homes and individualized care. This reflects a significant cultural transformation in the approach to the environment of care in Community Living Centers: the focus is on the individual as a resident, rather than as a patient, and the home is a place for meaningful living in addition to a place to receive nursing care.

“We take great pride in being able to expand our services to another area of the state. The lodge aesthetic of this facility elevates the cozy home feeling. It is our hope that it positively influences quality of life, as well as recovery with rehabilitation.”
-Ed Harries, Executive Director – TSVH
Housed in a single-story, 107,950 SF building is the 108-bed intermediate and skilled care nursing facility for qualified veterans of the State of Tennessee. The space consists of a neighborhood of six (6) 18-bedroom Residential Houses co-located with living, dining, and kitchen areas and interconnected by interior shared spaces, common areas, and support spaces. These six houses share Community Center spaces, Therapeutic spaces, other Resident Support spaces, and access to a series of planned outdoor garden and courtyard spaces. All bedrooms in the facility will be single (private) resident bedrooms.

“It has been a privilege to work on this project for the Veterans of Tennessee and our nation. Although there have been many challenges and some setbacks, prayers and perseverance have brought us to the finish line of this beautiful facility in which our veterans will receive the best of care.”
-Taylor Wyrick, Director of Construction and Facilities Management – TSVH
LGA worked tirelessly alongside individuals from Tennessee State Veterans Homes, including Executive Director Ed Harries and Director of Construction and Facilities Management Taylor Wyrick, to bring this facility to area veterans. We would also like to thank Courtney Washington, facility administrator, and Christman Construction for bringing this project to the finish line.
LGA is proud to be a part of this invaluable project, and we congratulate the veterans who will now benefit from the Bradley County Tennessee State Veterans’ Home.
