Morristown-Hamblen Heart Lung & Vascular Center

A three-story addition to the northeast sector to the existing hospital incorporates a new Cancer Center on the main floor and a new Heart and Lung Center on the upper floor. The Cancer Treatment Center is a full-service patient care unit with a Linear Accelerator and C.T. for Radiation Oncology and a Chemotherapy Infusion Center for Medical Oncology. The Heart, Lung and Vascular Center includes three Cath Labs and Cardiac Rehabilitation and is strategically located adjacent to surgery in the existing hospital. The lower floor consists of Medical Records and a Conference Center and other support services. By moving the existing departments from the main hospital to the new three-story addition, other growing departments, such as the Emergency Department and Imaging, will have the opportunity to expand into previously occupied space for a more functional and efficient patient and staff flow.
