Carson-Newman University Athletics Study

LGA performed an athletic programming study for the Carson-Newman University Athletics Department during the summer of 2015. LGA’s responsibilities included gathering data and generating a program that defined the facility needs for Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Track, Baseball and Softball. LGA’s staff worked with the Athletic Director and coaching staff to determine the needs of each sport.

As a result of this process, LGA developed schematic drawings of potential facilities and estimates of probable construction costs associated with each concept. These concepts included renovations, new construction, and expansion of facilities and athletic fields. Specific examples include the following: a new Tennis Field House and Competition Complex, improved bleacher seating for Women’s Softball, landscape seating and graphic upgrades for Baseball, new Track and Field Complex, and new Men’s and Women’s Soccer Complex.
